In September 2022, we made changes to the timings of our school day. These changes are below:
Total hours provided in a typical week: 32.5 hours
School gates open: 8:40am
School doors open: 8:45am
Morning registration time: 8:50am
Children arriving after 9:00am will be marked late
The official end of the compulsory school day is now: 3:15pm
School Day Variations and Early Closures
From time to time, there may be changes to the normal school day, such as early closures or adjusted timings. These may occur for reasons including:
- Staff training (INSET) sessions
- Special events or school productions
- Extreme weather conditions
- Operational or health and safety needs
How we will communicate changes
We will always aim to give parents as much notice as possible. Information will be shared via:
- School newsletters
- The school website
- Parent communication app (Arbor)
- Text or email alerts (where appropriate)
