Our aim is to offer all pupils a broad and stimulating curriculum that recognises the importance of providing pupils with the basic skills of literacy and numeracy. We want the children in our care to sparkle, to reach their full potential and learn skills for life through a creative curriculum. 🏰 WARWICK CASTLE 🏰
Bringing history to life! ✨ Year 1 stormed into Warwick Castle for a day of knights, castles and medieval adventures! 🏰⚔️
They were welcomed by beautiful peacocks proudly showing off their colourful feathers as they arrived — a very royal welcome indeed! 🦚✨
They trained for battle like real warriors, learning how knights prepared for combat and discovered just how HEAVY chainmail really was (safe to say they’re glad PE kit isn’t made of metal 😅). They bravely held both child-sized and adult-sized swords — some of them nearly needed two hands! 🗡️
They explored the grand castle rooms, stepping back in time to imagine life as kings, queens and brave knights, while learning all about how people lived inside the castle walls centuries ago 👑
One of the highlights of the day was seeing the incredible Falconer’s birds of prey up close — they were absolutely magnificent and had everyone amazed! 🦅✨
To finish their adventure, they climbed, slid and roared their way around the fantastic Zog Playground 🐉
A truly knight-tastic day full of history, laughter and adventure! ✨

Year 2 have had a fantástico time celebrating their end-of-term topic all about Mexico! 🇲🇽
They’ve been busy little sombreros: dancing 💃🏻, learning some Spanish 🇪🇸, tasting delicious food 🌯 and even designing and making their very own colourful Mexican ponchos 💛
The bravest of the bunch even sampled cactus juice… and lived to tell the tale! 🌵😄
It’s safe to say they’ve had mucho fun… but after all that excitement, we think they’ve earned a well-deserved siesta! 💤
