    We will be learning about Earth and Space and we will be able to: Describe the movement of the Earth, and other planets, relative to the Sun in the solar system Describe the movement of the Moon relative to the Earth Describe the Sun, Earth and Moon as approximately spherical bodies Use the idea of the Earth’s rotation to explain day and night, and the apparent movement of the sun

    Ancient Egypt - Spring Term 1 and 2

    We will be learning about Ancient Egypt and we will be able to; Investigate the men and women who studied the kingdoms and their discoveries Name some of the Pharohs and understand the development of the pyramids Understand the role  the river  Nile  had in allowing this civilisation to flourish Compare Ancient Egyptian life to our own.

    Early Islamic Civilisation - Summer Term 1 and 2

    We will be learning about Early Islamic civilisation and we will be able to; Track the development and early history of the great city of Baghdad Compare and contrast with Western Europe at the same time Describe the spread of Islam through the Middle East Discover the legacy of early Islam and its continuing influence we see today
